Invitation to the CIAMC Admin Professionals Conference 2019
We are pleased to invite the general public to attend the maiden admin professionals’ conference under the theme “Growing Together as Admin Professionals: Partners in National Development’’. The Conference is scheduled to take place on Tuesday 23rd July 2019, at the National Council for Tertiary Education Conference Hall, Legon-Okponglo, Accra.
This Conference is a joint effort of the Chartered Institute of Administrators and Management Consultants-Ghana, and its partner institutions including the Public Services Commission, Office of Local Government Service, Office of the Head of Civil Service, Ministry of Employment and Labour Relations, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development, Institute of Directors-Ghana, Chartered Institute of Marketing Ghana, Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators, Industrial and Commercial Workers Union, Association of Health Service Administrators-Ghana, Ghana Association of University Administrators, and Administrative Professionals Association of Ghana, among others.
The Conference deliberations will cover the following areas:
- First Speaker: The Strategic Leadership Role of the 21st century Administrator by Dr. Esther Offei-Aboagye. Management Consultant
- Second Speaker: The Value and Role of the Administrative Support Staff in Organizations by Prof. Yaw Agyeman Badu, National Development Planning Commission
- Guest Speaker: Harmonizing Professional Expertise for Organizational Effectiveness and National Development, by Hon. Ignatius Baffour Awuah, Minister for Employment and Labour Relations
The conference will be chaired by Mrs. Janet Ampadu Fofie, FChPA, Chairperson, Public Services Commission.
The conference is committed to unite and strengthen administrative professionals to grow in their professional development. It is also meant to launch a competency framework for excellent administrative practice across industries and institutions in Ghana.
